Ed has worked in the healthcare industry all his working life in both the USA & Ireland. He worked for a leading outpatient radiology group (Lenox Hill Radiology) in Manhattan, New York. After returning home Ed began working as Operations Manager for a leading private hospital in Dublin. It was while working here he discovered the importance of prevention and realised that there was a strong need for a quality screening service that is both accessible and affordable to people. Ed founded Advanced Medical Services (AMS) in March 2010 and since then over 750,000 people have availed of AMS’s various screening and medical services. Ed has a BA from UCC & MBS in Management from the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business. Ed is passionate about healthcare and in conjunction with AMS’s Medical Director leads a team of highly trained professionals who’s mission is to improve the lives of those who avail of our screening and healthcare programmes. He was a finalist in the EY Entrepreneur of the Year programme in 2020.
