In addition to our Diagnostic COVID PCR testing, we now also provide a Coronavirus (COVID-19) Antibody home testing service.
Antibody tests are not recommended for diagnosing an active COVID-19 infection and therefore results are generally not accepted for travel purposes.

How does the service work?

This test checks for the presence of antibodies created by the immune system in response to infection with a virus such as Coronavirus (COVID-19). Antibodies fight infections and can take up to several weeks to develop post-infection. Therefore, antibody tests are not recommended for diagnosing an active COVID-19 infection. Research is ongoing to see if antibodies provide immunity to future coronavirus infections in a person.

The blood test is sent to an approved laboratory for analysis and results are reported back to participants on our secure portal.

How long will the test and results take?

We will send the test kit to you within 5 working days of your online order. You then take your sample and return it in the postage paid package provided. Once the sample is received by the laboratory, results are dispatched to you within 3 – 5 working days.

What does it mean if I have the COVID-19 Antibody

If you have the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Antibody, you have previously been infected with the COVID-19 virus and have had an immune response. The antibody does not ensure that you are protected from becoming ill again if exposed to Covid-19, or for how long any protection may last. Also, antibodies can wane overtime and you may not show for antibodies even if you were previously infected with Covid-19. Research is ongoing for how long a person has antibodies post infection.
