He collapsed while playing a match for Carrickfergus Grammar School on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n<p>IRFU President Caleb Powell said: &#8216;It was with great shock and sadness that I learnt of the passing of Ben and I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the entire rugby family across Ireland to pass the deepest condolences to Ben&#8217;s parents and family.<\/p>\n<div id=\"story_island\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p>&#8216;To lose such a young life is incredibly saddening and I would also like to pass my sympathy to his team mates and school friends in Carrickfergus Grammar School.
