Lauren Burkhead is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Concussion Specialist Nurse. She is originally from Maryland in the USA. She previously served as Director of Clinical Services at a large urgent care centre in Maryland called Rightime Medical Care. She attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Masters of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Ms. Burkhead is currently a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Urgent Care Association of America, and the Maryland Academy of Advanced Practice Clinicians. Lauren oversees the day to day operations of AMS’s various screening and health services across its range of clients including corporates, schools and sports clubs.
